What is Texaco?


Texaco is an American oil retail brand. It was founded in 1901 in Beaumont, Texas. Originally it was started as the Texas Fuel Company by Joseph S. Cullinan, Arnold Schlaet, Walter Benona Sharp and Thomas J. Donoghue. The main product of the Company is the fuel, ‘Texaco with Techron’.

Info on ‘Cash For Clunkers 2009′ Program

The cash-for-clunkers bill passed the Senate 91-5 and is on its way to President Obama for his signature. It will offer cash vouches worth as much as $4,500 to consumers who trade in their old cars for new, more fuel-efficient models.

Q: Does the Cash for Clunkers bill apply to used car purchases?

A: Currently, the language of the proposed bill is only for new car purchases.
