She had confirmed this from Kenny Hickey (the guitarist of the metal band “Type O Negative”). Another person who tweeted this rumor on web is Brandon Geist (the editor – in – chief of “Revolver” magazine).

This film, High Fidelity is loosely based on the British novel of same name written by Homey in 1995. The name of the lead character is changed and whole setting moved from London to Chicago.
