SEX AND THE CITY star CYNTHIA NIXON confesses her lesbian lover CHRISTINE MARINONI hates wearing women’s clothes. Cynthia Nixon – who has been dating Marinoni since the end of her marriage to Danny Mozes in 2003 – once tried to encourage her partner to wear feminine clothes. But Marinoni was not interested. She says, “She only wears men’s clothes. She won’t even wear any kind of women’s shoes. “I bought her a pair of cowboy boots that were from a women’s department, and she was like, ‘Don’t do this again.’”

Who is Cynthia Nixon?

Born and raised in Manhattan, Cynthia Nixon has been acting professionally since the age of 12 and continues to build upon a versatile career in film, television and on stage.

Cynthia Nixon made her film debut in “Little Darlings” in 1980, and has worked with some of the most prominent directors in film and theater, including Louis Malle, Milos Foreman, Mike Nichols and Robert Altman. She is featured in the films “Igby Goes Down”, “Amadeus”, “Prince of the City”, “Baby’s Day Out”, “The Pelican Brief”, “Marvin’s Room”, and “The Out-of-Towners”.

On Sex and the City (with co-star Sarah Jessica Parker), Cynthia Nixon played a work-oriented single mother with an on-again, off-again relationship with her child’s father, a role that earned her an Emmy in 2004. She also appeared in the feature film reprise, Sex and the City, in 2008.
