John of God was born on March 8, 1495 was a Portuguese born saint and friar, he was one of Spain’s leading religious figures. He was born in João Cidade in Montemor-o-Novo, Portugal, into a once salient family that was indigent but had great religious trust. John of God’s mother died when he was only a kid and John’s father had joined a monastic order.

As an youngster, John had worked as a shepherd for a farmer who was very delighted with his persevering work and strength. He had an offer to marry the daughter of that farmer and to become the heir to the property, but he declined because he wanted to go after a spiritual life in the service of God.

John moved to Spain, where he served as a soldier under the Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor and he also fought some battles. After many heroic feats, he worked in dispersing the religious books, using the recent transferable type printing press of the Johannes Gutenberg to render people with the Bible.

John og God went through a major religious transition on the Sebastian’s day i.e January 20, while hearing to a sermon by the Saint John of Avila, who was later to become his spiritual wise man and would encourage him in his quest to meliorate the life of the poor & downtrodden. John then went temporarily into what seemed to be a state of madness and was later on thrown into an insane asylum, where John recovered after a visit from the John of Ávila and understood that the poor and needy merited better treatment than he had incurred. He determined to dedicate the rest of his life to caring for the sick and the poor.He died at the age of 55 (March 8, 1550).

Chlorophyll which is also known as the chlorophyl is a green pigment that is found in almost all algae, plants & cyanobacteria. The name Chlorophyll is derived from the Greek words, chloros which means “green” , phyllon which means “leaf”. It is an very important biomolecule and it is critical in photosynthesis, that allows plants to obtain the energy needed for the plant from light. It absorbs the light most strongly in the blue portion of the electromagnetic spectrum which is followed by the red portion. However, red portion is a poor absorber of green and also the near-green portions of the spectrum, hence the green color of the chlorophyll containing tissues.Chlorophyll was the first isolated by Mr. Joseph Bienaimé Caventou and Mr. Pierre Joseph Pelletier in the year 1817.

The Chlorophyll molecules are specifically arranged in and around the photosystems which are embedded in the thylakoid membranes of the chloroplasts. In these complexes, the chlorophyll serves a couple of primary functions. The function of the vast majority of it (up to several 100 molecules per photosystem) is to absorb the light and transfer that light energy by using resonance energy transfer to a specific chlorophyll pair in reaction center of photosystems.

The couple of currently accepted photosystem units are the Photosystem II and the Photosystem I, which have their own distinct reaction center named chlorophylls, named as the P680 and P700, respectively. These pigments are named after the wavelength is measured in nanometers of their red peak absorption at maximum. The identity, function and the spectral properties of the types of it in each photosystem are unique and determined by one another and the protein structure surrounding it. Once extracted from the protein into a solvent such as the acetone or methanol, these chlorophyll pigments can be separated in a simple paper called as the chromatography experiment and based on the number of polar groups between the chlorophyll a and the chlorophyll b, will chemically separate out on the paper.

Juneteenth, which is also known as the Emancipation Day or the Freedom Day, is a holiday in the U.S honoring the African American heritage by celebrating the announcement of the abolition of slavery in the United State’s State of Texas in the year 1865. Celebrated on 19th June every year and that day is recognized as a state holiday in 37 states of the U.S.The state of Texas is largely considered as the first state in the United States to start Juneteenth celebrations with the informal customary rite taking place for over 100 years, Juneteenth has been an official state holiday since the year 1980. It is considered as a “partial staffing holiday”, meaning that the state offices don’t close but some of the employees will be using a floating holiday to celebrate the Juneteenth, Its observance has spreaded to many states, with few celebrations even taking place in other Nations as well.

Though Mr. Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation on 22nd September, 1862, which came into effect on 1st January 1863, it had a small immediate effect on most of the slave’s daily lives, esspecially in the Confederate States of America.

Texas is a part of the Confederacy, was resistant to the Emancipation Proclamation and though that the slavery was very prevalent in the East Texas, it wasn’t as common in the Western areas of the state of Texas, particularly in the Hill Country, where most German Americans were opposed to the slavery practice. Juneteenth commemorates June 18 & 19, 1865. 18th June is the day Union General Mr. Gordon Granger and other 2,000 federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas to take the possession of the state and to free the slaves.

Joshua Otis “Josh” Turner was born on 20th November, 1977, he is an American country music singer and actor who signed to MCA Nashville Records in the year 2003.Josh has two brothers, Cameron and John, and three sisters Christi, Jackie and Julie. Josh met his wife Jennifer in the year 2003 at a classical training vocal program in the Belmont University in Tennessee. Jennifer travels with Josh when he is on tour, she sings background vocals and plays keyboards.

Early in his life, Josh Turner, sang bass and lead parts in his church choir. He has also formed a gospel quartet called the Thankful Hearts in which he used to sing bass and occasionally lead. After finishing his schoolings at Hannah Pamplico High School in South Carolina, Josh attended Francis Marion University in South Carolina and then Belmont University in Tennessee.

In the year 1996, Josh developed a lesion on his right vocal cord. Surgery wasn’t needed, but he was forced to rest his voice for a year. Josh states that, he “learned how to whistle really well during that year.”Josh was examined by the Vanderbilt voice clinic who advised Turner to let the lesion heal on its own. While Josh rested his voice back at his home, Turner learned classical vocal techniques and how to take care of his voice and avoid the development of further problems.

Shortly , Josh moved to Nashville to pursue his music career and attend the Belmont University in ennessee.Josh Turner went through a classical training vocal program at that university. While he was there, he also met Jennifer, whom he married in the year 2003, prior to the release of one of his album.

Josh has released 4 studio albums for MCA Nashville. The first one was released in 2003 (Long Black Train), whose title track was Josh’s breakthrough single release. Unlike many basses though he is able to sing much higher than the average bass range and in a number of his songs he rarely sings particularly low.

Casey Marie Anthony was born on March 19, 1986, Caylee’s mother, has been charged with the first degree murder of her daughter. She was first arrested on July 16, 2008, for giving false statements, neglect of a child, and obstruction of an criminal investigation with a request that she will be held on a no bond status until Caylee Anthony was found.

Casey Anthony was released on August 21, 2008 after a month of incarceration. She was released from the County jail in Orange after Casey Anthony’s $500,200 bond was posted by the California bail bondsman Leonard Padilla. She was arrested again on August 29, 2008, on charges of forgery, fraudulent use of personal information, and petty theft for forging checks of worth $700 and also for using her friend’s credit cards without permission. Leonard Padilla later rescinded the $500,200 in bail due to a lack of co-operation from Casey Anthony.

On 5th September, 2008, Casey Anthony was released again on bail after being fitted with an electronic tracking device. Her $500,000 bond was posted anonymously, and it was later revealed that her parents, Cindy and George Anthony, signed a promissory note for the bond.On October 14, 2008, Casey Anthony was indicted by a grand jury on charges of the first degree murder and was arrested for the 4th time. She is currently in the Orange County Jail awaiting her expected 16th May, 2011 trial date jury selection will start on May 9, 2011, in an undisclosed location. The state attorney’s office in Florida on April 2009 announced that it intended to seek the death penalty.

The case is detailed in a 2009 book by true crime author and novelist Diane Fanning titled Mommy’s Little Girl.According to a jail source she spends her days reading the Bible and writing letters. She is housed in a 12 X 7 cell in the Orange County jail with protective Custody wing, only emerging to take a shower and exercise. She has meetings with her lawyers every week and apparently had no visitors since the year 2008.

Rashard Jamal Mendenhall was born on 19th June, 1987, he is an American football who plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Steelers 23rd overall in the year 2008 NFL (National Football League) Draft. He played college football at the Illinois.

Rashard attended Niles West High School and Lincoln Jr. High School at Skokie in Illinois .As a 5-star prospect, he was also rated as the No. 1 recruit in the state of Illinois by Scout.com. He had recorded 1,300 yards and 21 touchdowns as a sophomore. As a junior, he rushed for 1,832 yards and 19 touchdowns, while maintaining an average of 11.6 yards per carry. In his last year, he averaged 9.1 yards per carry, rushing for 1,453 yards on his 160 attempts and 14 touchdowns. Following his good career in the high school level, Rashard played in the 2005 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Rashard Mendenhall was drafted 23rd overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the year 2008 NFL Draft.Prior to his rookie season R Mendenhall was ranked as the 30th best running back in the league by ESPN. On 25th July, 2008, Mendenhall agreed to a 5-year contract worth US$12.55 million with the Steelers, of which $7.125 million is guaranteed. He was expected to be a compliment to Pro-Bowl running back Willie Parker, in addition to the returning kicks. Mendenhall fumbled twice in Pittsburgh’s 3rd pre-season game against the Minnesota; they were attributed to adjusting to the faster pace of the National Football League. Days after the game, teammate Hines Ward placed a ball in Mendenhall’s locker with a note stating that, “Take Mendenhall’s ball away and get $100 from him.” Mendenhall was required to carry that ball everywhere he went until the team’s next game. Mendenhall fumbled once more in the Steelers final pre-season game, but worked with running backs coach Kirby Wilson to fix that problem.

The Green Bay Packers are an United States football team which is based

on Green Bay, Wisconsin. They are the members of the North Division of

the NFC (National Football Conference) in the NFL (National Football

League). The Green Bay Packers are the current champions of National

Football League. Green Bay is the second-oldest franchise in the

National Football League.

The Packers are the last shadow of “small town teams” that were once

common in the National Football League during the 1920′s and 1930′s.

The Green Bay Packers was founded on 11th August, 1919 by the former

high-school football rivals Mr. Earl “Curly” Lambeau and Mr. George

Whitney Calhoun.Lambeau supplicated funds for the uniforms from his

employer, the Indian Packing Company. He was given USD 500 for

equipment’s and uniforms, on the condition that the team be named for

its sponsor.

The Packers are the one and only non-profit, community-owned franchise

in United States professional sports major leagues.Usually, a team is

owned by a person, corporate entity or partnership i.e., a “team

owner.” The lack of a dominant owner has been declared as one of the

main reasons the Green Bay Packers have never been able to move from

the city of Green Bay, a city of only 1,02,313 people as of the census

taken in 2000.

Palm Sunday is a Christian moveable feastival which always falls on the Sunday before the Easter Sunday. The banquet commemorates Jesus Christ’s’ prideful entry into Jerusalem, an event mentioned by all four Canonical Gospels (Mark 11:1-11, Matthew 21:1-11, Luke 19:28-44, and John 12:12-19).

Palm Sunday is marked by the distribution of palm leaves in many Christian churches to the worshipers gathered in that church. The difficulty of attaining palms for that day’s ceremonies in unfavourable climates for palms led to the permutation of boughs of yew, box, willow or other native trees. The Sunday was frequently entitled by the names of these trees, as the general term Branch Sunday.

According to the Gospel’s Jesus Christ rode a donkey into Jerusalem, and the people’s celebrating there layed down their cloaks in front of him, and also lay down small branches of trees. They sang part of Psalms 118: 25-26 – … Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. We bless you from the house of the Lord ….

In Eastern tradition the symbolism of the donkey may refer to an animal of peace, versus the horse, which is referred to as the animal of war. Therefore, a king came riding upon a horse when he was bent on war and rode upon a donkey when he wanted to point out that he was coming in peace. hence Jesus christ’s entry to Jerusalem symbolized his entry as the Prince of Peace.

In the South Indian state of Kerala, flowers are strewn about into the asylum on Palm Sunday during the reading of the Gospel at the words expressed by the crowd welcoming Jesus Christ, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who is come and is to come in the name of the Lord God.” These words are read to the fold thrice. The congregation then repeats, “Hosanna!” and the flowers are garbled.
