The rumors claimed that the Peter Steele has died by heart failure. The rumor became stronger when Mistress Juliya of “Fuse TV” tweeted on web. She had confirmed this from Kenny Hickey (the guitarist of the metal band “Type O Negative”). Another person who tweeted this rumor on web is Brandon Geist (the editor – in – chief of “Revolver” magazine). Rumors of Steel’s death first arose late night on Wednesday.

No official statement has been given yet, but the internet is buzzing with rumor that Type O Negative’s singer, Peter Steele, died on the evening of, April 14, 2010. The reason for the death ranged from AIDS to cancer and even suicide. Many other sources supposed that Peter Steele was suffering from a disease for a long time and he had died of the illness. The rumor was confirmed wrong at that time.

Steele was born on January 4, 1962 in Brooklyn, New York, U.S. He was also known as Pete Steele or Lord Petrus Steele. Peter steele is the singer, bassist and composer for the Gothic metal band “Type O Negative. In 1990, Steele formed Type O Negative. He played bass and was the chief vocalist for the band. He played for the metal group Fallout and the thrash band Carnivore, before joining Type O Negative. Steele was popular for his dark, deadpan humor and clinical depression. Occasionally he received psychiatric treatments. He had a low and bass heavy voice, which was one of the recognizable features in Type O Negative.

Back in 2005, the official website of Type O Negative band’s proclaimed that the Peter Steele has dead. But later they revealed that this was a joke. Fans and people have started searching the web for the truth. Right now we don’t know what is fact of this rumor? It can clear after only an official statement.
