Samsung’s SC-DX205 Camcorder is a great camera for those who want to record their memories to DVD, but don’t want a high price tag. More sophisticated than simple point and shoot camcorders, the SC-DX205 gives you some advanced features, such as Face Detection and editing software for easy uploading to YouTube, giving you more control over your video.

The nuts and bolts of the camcorder include recording to compatible 3.5 inch DVDs for 720 x 480 resolution H.264 video and 800 x 600 resolution stills. You can enjoy up to 2 hours of uninterrupted recording thanks to the extended battery life. Should you need more storage space, SD/SDHC memory cards can be used in the expansion memory slot.

Other features, such as the 2.7″ LCD and the 42x Intelli-zoom give you excellent tools for composing your shots with accuracy and clarity. In addition, the Hyper Digital Image Stabilizer and 3D noise reduction work to keep your video clean and jitter-free.

Record your video and still images to compatible DVD disks with the SC-DX205 camcorder. Compatible disks include: DVD-RW/-R/-R DL. Should you need extra space you can also record to optional SD/SDHC memory cards.
