The Kentucky men and women get ready for the first practice opportunity of the year. The basketball teams are all in readiness to advertise their skills, as the hunt for big blue madness tickets are all set to begin on October the third. The proactive campus management expecting a huge audience and to avoid a deluge have asked the ardent locals to refrain from lining up outside the memorial coliseum on October sixteenth, the big day.
The big blue madness tickets are offered free of charge and thus a huge crowd is expected to turn out for the ticket purchase which might create problems for the campus management. To avoid this online orders are made available. But then, one would have to pay the service charge. The catch is that a person would not be issued more than two tickets and each online order by a household cannot exceed two tickets, as well. Even then the big blue madness ticket sales are expected to hit the roof!
Keeping with the convention, as a prelude to the event several fracases have been reported between rival factions. One such brawl was said to have left a guard of the men’s basket ball team hospitalized with a hand injury. Some say that the injury is likely to put off the young man’s chances in the event.
The campus team to avoid such encounters in the future has increased security measures. Propane lighters, wooden structures and certain other possible make shift weapons are banned from the premises.
The Kentucky wildcats are making news as the team coach is very optimistic of the team’s chances after running through a purple patch in the last season. New faces are likely to be tried out. Gillespie the team coach was pestered with unrelenting player injuries which perennially left him with under strength line ups in the previous season. This time he is said to have increased his roster!!
